Our vinyl stickers are printed on durable 3.4 MIL, 5-year, waterproof vinyl (not paper!) using the latest in digital sticker printing technology. Unlike solvent and eco-solvent printing methods, our latex inks are water based and produce no harmful VOCS (Volatile Organic Compounds), require no special handling, and have no Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPS).
Not only are our inks eco-friendly, they are also incredibly durable. Other sticker printing methods require lamination because their prints will scratch and fade without it, thus driving up the cost. Our inks include a special anti-scratch agent as part of their formula, which forms a thin protective layer over the print. This improves the outdoor durability and increases the scratch resistance without the need to laminate! Why spend more if you don't have to? Our economy stickers are rated to last up to three years outdoors, making them perfect for giveaways, band stickers, and any short to medium term projects.
What's the difference between a Sticker and a DECAL?
A sticker generally has two layers. The vinyl and the backing paper. You peel the sticker from the backing paper and apply it to the surface of your choice. Decals, on the other hand, are a transfer and have three layers. Unlike stickers, decals have a paper top layer, similar to masking tape. This sticky top layer holds all the elements of your design in place and enables you to transfer the elements as a whole. Car dealerships like Carmax use decals on the back of every car they sell.
Decals can be placed on windows, body of car, truck, motorcycle, boat, recreation vehicles, laptops, video game hardware, glass, tile, flat metal, painted walls or wood and any other smooth nonporous surfaces.
Our base vinyl is a high quality 2.5 Mil film, which has been rated for up to 6 years outdoors, and almost unlimited indoor use. It features a permanent adhesive and last longer, and resists shrinking and cracking than other vinyl in the same class.
